Privacy

Privacy policy.

How information submitted through this website is handled, stored, and protected. Drafted for clarity over legalese.

What this website collects.

When you submit the contact form, the firm receives: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), selected practice area, and the content of your message. No other identifying information is collected automatically beyond standard web server analytics (page views, approximate geographic region, referrer), which are anonymized and used only to understand site performance.

The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Turnstile runs a challenge in the background when forms are submitted and does not collect personally identifying information. The site does not use tracking pixels from advertising networks (Meta, X, LinkedIn, Google Ads) on service or intake pages. Analytics are either Google Analytics 4 or a privacy-friendly alternative (Plausible); specific analytics tooling is disclosed during the launch process.

Where information goes.

Contact form submissions are transmitted encrypted via TLS to a form-handling service that immediately routes them to Norris's email inbox on Google Workspace and, where integration permits, to Clio Grow — a legal industry-specific intake and CRM platform that is SOC 2 Type II compliant. The form-handler retains submissions for no more than 7 days to permit delivery retry if needed, after which they are deleted from the handler's servers. The permanent record resides in the attorney's encrypted email and in Clio Grow.

The firm does not sell, share, or transfer contact information to third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose unrelated to the specific matter about which the taxpayer contacted the firm.

Confidentiality and privilege.

Submission of the contact form does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Information submitted through the website is treated with care but is not protected by attorney-client privilege until an attorney-client relationship is formally established through a written engagement letter. Prospective clients are advised to avoid including highly confidential or time-sensitive information in initial inquiries; details can be discussed in an initial consultation once the relationship is established.

For clients with active engagements, all confidential communications and documents are handled through Clio Manage, the firm's practice management system, which is SOC 2 Type II compliant and designed for privileged legal communications. No confidential client information is stored on the public website or its infrastructure.

Cookies.

This site uses a minimal set of cookies: a session cookie for form functionality, a cookie for the Cloudflare Turnstile spam-protection challenge, and a cookie for the analytics provider (if enabled). No third-party advertising cookies are set. No cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Your rights.

If you have submitted information through the contact form and wish to have that information deleted, email norris@lozanolegaladvisors.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the request will be honored within 30 days, subject to any retention required by state bar rules, applicable federal law, or ongoing attorney-client relationship obligations.

Updates to this policy.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the firm's practices, technology infrastructure, or applicable law. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page with an effective date. The current version is effective as of launch.
